Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey Her father (who died in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She has been able to achieve twelve WTA singles championships. This includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. Doubles is her forte She has won majors in both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were with Elise Mertens. With her, the Belgian tennis player She won the WTA 1000s in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. This feat was made possible by four couples playing in the women's doubles. In the month of January, 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she rose to the second spot in the the world rankings. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles event in February of 2021 and gaining the doubles title, she managed to move up the rankings and take over the top spot on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and 2019 as well as a part of early 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September of 2020. From the beginning of 2020 she has been coached by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
